JOY i a w O dreaming out loud: the HI I AM JUST A FABRIC Fabrics are versatile by nature. For my grad collection I explored how fabric can evolve by being molded and folded. When we make structured garments, we typically utilize materials like interfacing and metal or plastic boning to support the structure. In this case the fabric is doing all the work by itself, simply by being manipulated. I learned the techniques I used in this collection through research and experimentation. This is not conventional pattern drafting and went beyond my foundational skills. Here I show the process. The ingenious and fun side of pattern drafting and fabric play.
