The program emphasizes practical 'hands-on' approach to instructor training and provides the knowledge, skills and experiences to successfully plan, design, prepare and manage training sessions. The four courses within the program are: Program Design (30 hours), Giving of Instruction (30 hours). Evaluation of Learning (30 hours), and Practicum (30 hours maximum tutorial). A College certificate is awarded to graduates who successfully complete the 120 hour program. Courses 1517, 1518, and 1519 may be taken in any sequence.
