The highlight of the conference was the launching of the Wom¬ en's Institute of Management (Malaysia) (WIM) and the signing by the Malaysian A Minister for National Unity of a memoran¬ dum of understanding with three Canadian community colleges: VCC, Sheridan Col¬ lege and the University College of the xA-lice Wong attended Asia's First Regional Business Meeting for Women in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from December Cariboo. They have made arrangments to 12 to 14,1994. The conference was enti¬ deliver a broad range of training packages through the Institute (WIM). VCC was represented by Dale Dom, Vice President of Education. Both the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and the High Commissioner of Canada (Malaysia) were present to witness tled "The Woman Manager and Entrepre¬ neur Symposium: Asia 2000."
