Previously, he held senior human resources positions with BF Goodrich Aerospace, CN Intermodal and CN Rail. Stock holds a master's of industrial relations from Queen's University and is the United Way co-ordinator for BF Goodrich. Sung Van has worked with senior management teams in a variety of organizations including B.C Gas and BC Hydro to help them with marketing goals He is the owner of Sung Van Studios Ltd., a graphic design firm established in 1994. Van holds a bachelor of fine arts from the University of Victoria and a marketing management diploma. Cameron Watt holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of B.C. He founded Canadian Springs Water Co and in 1996, with a partner, developed a mall in Calgary Watt is also a partner in Liberty, a furniture and accessory store; and Ecco Sales, a wholesale home appliance company. Robert Tarnowski is a director and school board chair of the King's Temple Missionary Society m North Vancouver He was vice-president of human resources for Cymbolic Sciences International Ltd. Tarnowski holds a diploma in business administration from the B.C. Institute of Technology.' Bergie Wilson is the regional sales director of the Sandman Hotels, Inns Et Suites. Previously, she was national director of marketing and sales for Coast Hotels ft Resorts. Wilson has a teaching certificate from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade. Linda Nutter is a professional freelance writer. Previously, she was a video producer and an economist with the federal and B.C. governments. Nutter holds a BA from the University of B.C. and a master's in economics from Carleton University. She was chair of the Sluglmes sereenwritmg group. Karen Dickson is a partner with Miller Thomson, providing legal advice to clients in business law and finance She holds a law degree from the University of B.C. and has lectured for continuing legal education and the professional legal training course program. Vol 8 No 2 www.vcc.ca Active PAC Essential to Program Success Dave Mitchell, Chair of the Auto Collision and Refinishing / Prep Program Advisory Committee (PAC), believes in the importance of a committed and active PAC. "The secret to the success of our Committee is the enthusiasm of its members," says Mitchell. "We are all eager to see our industry grow through new, skilled workers." The PAC is made up of a diverse group including suppliers, manufacturers, and body shop owners Dave Mitchell is the Manager, Material Damage Research a Training at ICBC. He was called three years ago by Lew Bloommgdale, Department Head of the Auto Collision and Refinishing / Prep, to participate in the PAC. Since then, he has dedicated himself to making the Committee an integral part of the VCC program's achievements.
