They At the same meeting, the Board approved the striking of an Education and Educa¬ tional Support Services Committee. Dalton Kremer, Carey Linde, Karenn Krangle, Lee-Anne Wilson and Elizabeth Lee have volunteered to serve on this committee. Another major change in the Board operat¬ ing process is that the Finance Committee will be expanded to include other adminis¬ trative functions and will now be referred to as the Finance and Administration Committee. The committee will be com¬ prised of Sophie Dikeakos, Paul Gill, Jo Hansen, Bob Jamison, Patrick Kelly and Dalton Kremer. Over 20,000 contacts were made at both campuses! At King Edward Cam¬ pus 6,000 ABESAP grants were processed, for a total of $900,000. At City Centre, 1,000 BCSAP applications were processed, for a total of $3.5 million dollars in loan puses have been involved in work-study jobs to supplement their income. Approxi¬ mately 240 students have been assisted in this way. Finally, the Financial Aid offices at City Centre and King Edward are increasingly involved in awarding scholarships and bursaries. Thanks to the Educational Foundation and generous donors, the number of scholarships continues to grow, with over 300 students receiving awards for excellence each year.
