The The art work above was circulating around City Centre Campus. Should we wait for the official word or can we start planning the farewell party now ? numbers are then put in a barrel and the winning "bid" or number is drawn. Example: The "bids" cost $5.00. I pay $5.00 and receive number 20. If number 20 is then drawn I am the lucky bidder in the auction. Food Drive Thank you! Thank you! Season's Greetings from the Student Association. Just a A BIG THANK YOU from Sam DiGiando to all those short note to everyone to encourage all of you to bring a tin of food to campus for this last-minute canned food drive. The Food Bank is having a dismal year, and Christmas is not a time for this essential service to be in hardship. Boxes are located under the Christmas tree in Administration, the Library, counselling, and the Student Association. All of the Canned goods will be dropped off to the Food Bank before Christmas, so your gift will be well appreciated. Thank you all for your who helped out in the planning and running of the Awards Ceremony held on December 10. In particular, Margaret Charles, Dana Fister, Angelo lapallucci and his staff and David Wiebe. Thanks also to Uli Falter, Gabe Ferron, John Gillespie, Henry Subasinghe and their students and staff for preparing and serving such excellent food. It couldn't have happened without you! Thanks again! Sam DiGiando generous support. Abby Rose Library Christmas Message From Food Services New Books The Food Service Department has many plans in the pipeline, some are short term and have already been implemented in the forni of promotions sponsored by suppliers and theme days on special occasions. Other more complicated issues are in the planning stage and as plans are finalized and solutions are found these will be forth coming. Items in the planning phase are a "Green" approach to food service, the layout and flow in the cafeteria and a few other less interesting items that keep us all on our toes and busy. To date our monthly promotions have been well sup¬ ported with the entries for our Gone Fishing promotion just having closed. This draw result is due in mid January. The coke competition and Red Rose tea competition supplied several students with some well deserved prizes. At the same time we hope that the Active Training: a Handbook of Techniques ...
