But on this particular day the municipal workers are noisily cutting down the trees on his street. This animation tells the story of one person's attempt to fight City Hall.' THE CITY: HEAVEN AND HELL The evolution of cities is traced from the farming communities of 10,000 years ago through the village and feudal town to the modern city. The destructive forces, such as wars, and the constructive ones, such as cooperative building projects, are considered. The film explores the possible consequences of uncontrolled nuclear power.
