Ever wonder what it's like to run for 24 hours? Well, not the entire 24 hours but 2.5 mile laps three or four times in a 24 hour period? At 5:00 p.m., 11:00 p.m., 3:00 a.m., and again at 6:00 a.m. No? Ever wonder what it's like to stay up all night with 5000 other equally hyped amateur runners? Not in to masochism, huh? Well, ever wonder how great it feels to hand a cheque for over 1.5 million dollars to a group of disabled children? To know that you have helped build and staff a centre for disabled children and their families? Talk about your all time runner's high! This event is the ultimate expenence both emotionally and physically. Heck, if it came to that I would pay them to let me do it! Unfortunately, VCC's team in the 24 Hour Relay ran out of gas m 1992.
