VVINSIDER : VOLUME 4 : NUMBER 29 : SEPTEMBER 26 QUICK BITS FROM AROUND THE CAMPUS -» A reminder . . . VVI will be open for business on the Saturday before Thanksgiving (October 11). A welcome ... to Ann Oahl who will be the full time Secretary for the Program Advisory Committees. There is a shelf in the mail room for all PAC related correspondence and Ann can be reached at Local 233 until the middle of October. After that time (approximately October 15th) Ann will be at Local 247. -» Dr. Rerup will be absent from the campus from 1986 September 29 to 1986 October 03 inclusive and during his absence John Vandenakker, Dean of Administrative and Student Services, will be acting on his behalf. -» And speaking of John, word has it that he is venturing into new and untried directions in creative vocational education. He has a new accounting system - "no line accounts, just bottom" and a new marking system as well - "counsellors determine marks on entry"! Perhaps this can all be summed up in his new VVI motto Upgrade your image - be seen with me! By the way — Happy Birthday John!! September 22, 1986 FITNESS FITNESS FITNESS FITNESS FITNESS The exercise room at VVI is finally ready! I would be willing to pay per class (if necessary) to have an instructor. 7. Because companies that offer such programs have better staff morale, staff health and thus productivity, I would like interested employees to approach VVI-VCC management for partial of full sponsorship of an employee fitness program.
