VVINSIDER VOLUME 6 NUMBER 13 SEPT. 23/88 BUTT OUT - Round II In view of the lack of evening clientele in VVI's dining room, and the need to provide students with customers for the instructional setting, Dr. Rerup, has authorized JJ's Dining Room to temporarily permit the reinstatement of smoking and non-smoking areas, until 1988 December 23. However, this temporary exception to the campus non-smoking policy will be granted only under conditions of stringent financial and customer monitoring, to determine if the loss of customers and revenue was due entirely to the non-smoking policy or if the recent increase in dining room prices was also an influencing factor. Figures will be compared to 1987 figures for the same time period.
