VOLUME 2 : NUMBER 11 : MARCH 16, 1984 OPEN HOUSE 184 The 1984 V.V.I. Open House is now history and from all preliminary reports it was an unqualified success. I am sure that the V.V.I, has made many new friends and has told its "Learning a Living" story to the community. I would like to thank all faculty and support staff who have worked hard to make this success possible, with special thanks to all the students who volunteered their services as guides. As m all endeavours we undertake, some things turn out perfect and others not so perfect, so please tell us what you thought about this year's Open House - especially m terms of what might need improvement! JV FITNESS FIRST!! Some changes have been made to the lunch hour fitness class. Emphasis is now on stretching - strength and flexibility - rather than aerobics, although some aerobics can still be worked into the routine. Classes are held Monday and Thursday 12:10 to 12:50. The next session starts Thursday, March 22nd and the cost will be approximately $32.00 for 16 sessions (a bargain when compared to other groups and you don't have to go home and change)!! For further details contact Dolores at Local 220. DC CHANGES IN CLASS SCHEDULING Will all departments please ensure that the switchboard is informed of any scheduling changes, including changes in class hours or any temporary department closures. This will really help the switchboard operators in processing the incoming telephone calls for these areas.
