b u I I t e i n MAY 27, 1991 New appointments announced VCC Acting President Ross Carter has announced two new appointments: Mary Anne Epp as Director of Library Services and Min Yao as Co-ordinator of Institutional Research. "lary Anne, who joined VCC in 1974 as KBC Campus Librarian, served most recently as Co-ordinator of VCC's _.ibrary Media Services. She also acted as Co-ordinator of the B.C. College and Institute Library Services Clear­ inghouse for the Print Impaired (CILS). She is a past President of the Media Exchange Co-operative and a past Chairperson of the Continuing Education Committee of the B.C. Library Association. As Director of Library Services, she is responsible for the management of the three campus libraries, mcluding budgets, personnel and planning. Epp reports to Hans Rerup, Director of Strategic Planning and Acting Director of College Resources. Min came to VCC last year as a Research Assistant in the Assessment Centre at KBC. Previously, he worked as a graduate assistant for the Literacy Research Project at UBC. He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the U.S. International University (formerly California Western University) in San Diego, California. He is currently enroled in a Ph.D. program at UBC, specializing in the statistical area of educational rsychology.
